Blade Thompson picks up­ or pretends to pick up­ four pairs of guys out cruising for sex for pay or play, and talks them into getting it on for his video camera in sleazy public toilets. Glory holes figure in each episode, sometimes awkwardly. The best moments of erotic tension occur during the pickup sequences, which may be largely staged, but have a candid-camera feel. There's a startling bit where Ian Dane strokes Joey Jay's exposed cock as Blade drives them down L.A. streets past oblivious pedestrians. But Thompson spoils some of his best introductory footage by injecting crude, miscalculated flash-forwards to the so-so sex ahead. Standouts among the eight models, most of whom are making their debuts, are hulking, uncircumcised Latino Ariel Santos, sandy-haired Boystown denizen Drew Daniels, and Billy-Budd blond Rick Coy, who has a slightly dippy beatific grin.
