How to order
Andrew Rosen is one of the best editors in the porn industry (BuckleRoos, The Hole), and (as Andrew Addams) a likable, uninhibited model (Dad 'n' Lads, The Warehouse). Since making his directorial debut in 2006 with Going Under, he has helmed a number of Jet Set productions. Although his inclusion in the studio's stable of directors is an indicator of Jet Set Entertainment's recent efforts to improve the quality of its releases, he's still learning.
Jet Set Fraternity Gangbang 2 is superior to the 2002 original, but it has a disappointing, tossed-off quality. Although Rosen's direction coasts through the action efficiently enough, there are signs of haste. A decent script might have helped. The hazing rituals here include silly intrigues over a stolen tiki sculpture, and instructions to join a nonexistent tennis club. The Sigma Epsilon Chi (SEX) fraternity seems weirdly underpopulated, with just three full-fledged brothers and three pledges, one of whom drops out. Two routine sex scenes precede the seven-man initiation orgy. The latter has its moments -- mostly in the middle, where Rosen pulls back from a surfeit of tight close-ups and stirs up some effective, coherent group action on a sofa -- but at 47 minutes, the scene feels 20 minutes too long. The cast is attractive, though in some cases a bit long in the tooth to be playing college undergraduates. Jesse Santana, Tyler Saint, and Brant Moore stand out.
