How to order
Running slightly over two hours, Porn
Zone feels longer. There's an overbundance of solo action interspersed with views of couples having routine sex, mostly on beds. The premise is odd. Director Jean-Marc Prouveur, in a non-sexual role, appears as "the controller," a man who
sits in an office and gives commands to models whose sexual activities are transmitted via Webcam from five different locations. A visual artist of some renown, Prouveur must at least have supervised the uncredited, undistinguished videography. You may wonder if his aesthetic
sense is going down the tubes, or if the Webcast device is just an effort to jazz up, pull together, and profit from footage left over from God knows what.
T
he best reason to see this anomaly is Henry Fleischmann, a handsome, camera-friendly Euro-stud whose presence grabs your attention and wakes you up. He's allotted a quickie with Jason Decker in a stairwell; the rest of his time on screen is spent getting off alone. When he
replaces Prouveur as controller, however, it's a relief to see the keyboard pass to someone who doesn't just sit there smirking, fully clothed. Fleischmann also has a better relationship with the Webcam models, offering such helpful suggestions as "Tony, take your pants off and leeck
Leo's arse."
