How to order
On a 12-hour night flight from LA to London, passengers Bobby Williams and Corbin Michaels slip into a restroom and out of their clothes; their Mile-High-Club encounter, expertly shot by Max Phillips, is a well-strategized exercise in cramming a fully realized sex scene into a
tight, confined space. As it turns out, Falcon Airways offers roomier sexual options. Patrician blond Nate Alexander and ripe young Tristan Adonis, who look like brothers, have stealthy but full-throttle sex at their seats without waking Alexander's girlfriend (Ashley Long), who dozes
between them. On the return flight, rutting breaks out in the cockpit and at the flight attendants' station.
In this two-part airborne Falcon epic, additional sex interludes serve a plot involving secret mutual attraction between pilot Jason Adonis and flight attendant Josh Weston, both of whom have boyfriends. There are ten erotic sequences, five in each half. Several, including
a lively foursome glued together by insatiable bottom Dean Monroe, unfold in a London sex club Weston and colleague Matthew Rush explore with Adonis in furtive pursuit. The much-hyped, inanely-named Jason Adonis, a tall (6'3"), baby-faced ex-fitness model, fares better here
than in earlier vehicles like Jet Set's American Porn
Star. Taking Flight is the high point of his short-lived career as a "Falcon Lifetime Exclusive"; he and Falcon Studios have parted company for reasons that remain obscure. But the standouts here are reliable A-level pros Matthew
Rush and Josh Weston.
Model-turned-jack-of-all-porn-trades Chris Steele compensates for the uncredited script's flatness through deft orchestration of sexual action. When Chi Chi LaRue, who conceived this project and was to direct, bowed out due to illness, Steele stepped in. His skill is
especially apparent in one-on-one sex scenes. There's also some adroitly managed location work on the streets of London. One quibble: it's too bad more of an effort wasn't made to showcase local talent in the UK. Even British-born Dean Monroe sounds American, and in a tangential orgy
for six London toughs, the participants are mostly from the US and Continental Europe.
