Matt Cole's house is a busy place. It's being remodeled by a crew of hotties headed by vulpine, muscular Nickolay Petrov. The pool is being cleaned by Carter Longway, a lean blond Brit. Various friends and public officials keep popping in and out. But the premises are roomy enough to provide opportunities for lots of private -- or at least semi-private -- suck-and-fuck sessions, most them avidly spied upon by Cole.

When city inspector Tyler Saint shows up in response to a noise complaint and asks to see a construction permit, a storyline seems to kick in. But after Cole throws Saint across his bed, yanks open his pants, and initiates blistering sex, an understanding is reached. After that, there's just more sex. Petrov is paired with red-haired Blu Kennedy; Longway is expropriated by Romario, Cole's hulking boyfriend. Horny hanger-on Cam Kurtz lucks into a three-way with Derrick Hanson and multi-tattooed Sebastian Young, Petrov's crew. All the sex scenes are effective, though nothing tops the superb initial episode with Cole and Saint. A skilled editor and an increasingly skilled director, Andrew Rosen knows how to bring out the humanity in models whether or not they can act, and whether or not the script really works. He handles the logistics of sex with considerable skill, but -- to his credit -- lets us read expressions on his models' faces.

It should be noted that Code Violators is presumably one of Jet Set Exclusive Nickolay Petrov's last porn appearances. The high-profile star -- The Guide's cover model for June 2007 -- was at last report being held in Florida on charges of "traveling in interstate commerce with intent to kill, injure, harass, or intimidate another person." The 23-year-old Armenian, whose real name is Edmon Vardanyan, is accused of repeated attacks on an elderly couple he had been hired to rough up and perhaps murder for non-payment of debts.
