How to order
Billy Wild, a tight-bodied, fortyish gent with caffeinated eyes and mischievous lips, drives his rig down I-95 toward Gulfport, Mississippi. "There's a truck stop along here somewhere," he tells us in voiceover. "Got a couple of rooms out back, supposed to be all kinds of stuff going
on." What goes on bears a strong resemblance to what went on in Joe Gage's
Kansas City Trucking Co. back in 1976. Although
Truck Stop on I-95 isn't strictly a remake, some things never change.
When Wild arrives at the truck stop, he passes a lounge near the showers ("Free showers with fill-up," reads the sign), and glimpses the conclusion of an encounter between rookie trucker Logan Bryant and a new acquaintance, Dylan West, who has just been lap-fucked.
They steer Wild downstairs, where shadowy cubicles beckon. In the lower depths, Wild peeps at two guys having sex, sucks off an anonymous dick through a glory hole, and makes eye contact with Sebastian Jamyz (don't they mean
Jaymz?), who leads him back upstairs and into an
office orgy. This final passage, which ends with a naked, sweat-slicked Wild magisterially whomping fresh, young Adam Gabriel atop a table, is the strongest. Veteran director Joe Gage retains his touch.
