How to order
Director Chris Ward's strong suit and abiding interest is ass-play. Within a narrow range, he's one of the prodigies of gay adult video. His production company, Raging Stallion Studios, turns out porn in such abundance that it's difficult to stay abreast of its releases. But the
volume of product isn't as noteworthy as the standard of quality Ward sustains even when he's repeating himself.
Rear-End Collision, which Raging Stallion describes as a two-part feature in "FistaVision" for "gay adult males who enjoy hot ass," won't enthrall every viewer, but it's one
of the better current releases of its kind.
Ward's success is partly due to his astute choice of collaborators. J.D. Slater, his partner in life and business, co-produced
Rear End Collisions, Part 1: Pop a Gasket; irrepressible bad-boy model Michael Brandon, producer and star of his own "Monster Bang" series under
Raging Stallion's aegis, co-produced Rear End Collisions, Part 2: Lube
Job. Slater, who scores every Chris Ward production, provides both parts with mood-sculpting musical tracks; Brandon appears in four loops, two in each half, and gives the action an extra jolt of energy whenever he's
on screen.
The eight chapters carry automotively suggestive titles such as "Transmission Overhaul," "New Spark Plugs," or "Fill Him Up." The sex takes place in a dark abstraction of a garage. Fisting looms large, though it doesn't completely take over. Jockstraps are worn
fetishistically. Not every segment proceeds to cumshots; cocks aren't even fully shown until section three of Part 1 (which does include some sucking). In Part 2's final scene, Brock Devonshire's hindquarters swallow a series of metal bocce balls, the handle of a claw hammer, the tip of a large
red funnel, perhaps half a liter of lube, Rik Hammer's fist, and Anthony Moreno's cock. The international cast seems diabolically turned on. There's a sameness to a lot of Chris Ward's work, but there's no denying his talent.
