How to order
Chad Donovan (Workin' Stiff,
Mavericks) joins the thinly populated ranks of models who have graduated
cum laude into directing. This all-sex, four-scene diversion doesn't probe the possibilities of The Zone, the
Hollywood sex club where it was shot, but on its own modest terms,
The Works is sexually alive and kicking. Bonus featurettes suggest that the key to this project's effectiveness may be the laid-back professionalism prevailing on the
set. Donovan's cast isn't straining to be godlike; they're just guys making happy recreational use of one another's body parts.
G
roup sex in open areas tends to be the norm at venues like The Zone, but Donovan prefers a set-up where two models start having sex and another appears, watching, jerking off-- and not joining in. The third time this
pattern occurs, it's a drag, even when the situation results in a spectacular cumshot for voyeur Antonio Madeira. But the models offer strong compensation-- especially Simon Angel, who rims Josh Carter within an inch of his life,
and baby-faced muscle sculpture Damon Phoenix, who acts as the power source in a lively flip-flop with Ben Campezi.
An anal sex chair that looks like a potty seat for Rosemary's baby is put to good, lewd use during the Phoenix-Campezi combo and in the concluding episode, where multi-partner sex at long last occurs. The final scene
begins with skilled videographer Mr. Pam's most riveting image: gorgeous, mahogany-skinned Jason Tiya grappling with three hard cocks protruding urgently from mouth-level glory holes.
