San Francisco-- One would think a group of queer literarians could come up with a better name for a writers' conference than "Behind Our Masks." And they have. This year's rechristened "Lambda Literary Festival" is
set for San Francisco, October 19th to 21st. The Festival "should appeal to aspiring and established writers who want to refine their techniques, hone their skills, and exchange ideas with other professionals," declares
impressaria Michele Karlsberg. "The event also will be for lovers of literature who want to meet authors and listen to them speak about their craft." Come and rub shoulders with the likes of Andrew Holleran, Tony Valenzuela,
