How to order
A model called Chad Calvin arrives in Rio de Janeiro, takes a cab to an efficiency apartment he's renting (or a small hotel with no staff), and soon starts cruising for sex. We're told
he's American, but when he speaks, the doctored soundtrack muffles his voice-- perhaps to conceal his German accent. (He's not a native speaker of English, at any rate, and he's shown
perusing Der Spiegel.) Whatever his true nationality, Calvin, a dedicated bottom, is a horny little character who looks a bit like Roman Polanski before he left Warsaw.
Alexander, the director, favors threesomes. Calvin first picks up a pair of narcissistic beachboys who use his place to take showers, top him while avoiding sissy stuff like kissing, and
fall asleep as soon as they come. He fares a bit better the following day when, at a café, he meets Pero Boteino and Alvaro Gomez, who share an pre-coital orange with him. Gomez, at
least, is willing to kiss and suck cock. Later, a slim young plumber (Jorge da Praga) shows up to fix a leak in Calvin's bathroom, and stays to fuck. Finally, the indefatigable tourist picks up a
couple of guys on the street (which a typically screwy title card calls an alley), and invites them in for the usual festivities. The interracial Brazilian cast is mostly attractive. Amazingly, Calvin
never gets mugged, shaken down, or otherwise robbed.
Viewers who crave more of Chad Calvin's adventures in Rio will be pleased to note that at least four more volumes of
Brazilians Do It Better, adhering to the same formula and
setting with occasional changes of bedspread, can now be obtained.
