Glory Holes of Las Vegas
By Giacomo Tramontagna

Glory Holes of Las Vegas
Rating: 2 Stars
Produced, written, and directed by Bruno Riccelli. Videography by Miles Long, John Simms, Tony Biscotti, and Bruce Stanton. Edited by Tony Biscotti. Music by Sharon Kane. Starring Jason Ridge, Nick Capra, Bo Knight, Andy Hunter, Jason Crew, Dillon Press, Ty Hudson, Steven Richards, Andrew Addams, Rik Jammer, Luciano Haas, Mario Cruz, and K.C. Hart.
How to order

Summoned by his "old friend Gloria Hole," Jason Ridge heads for Las Vegas. His mission is "to find the best holes in town." As he tells a bartender just before he heads for a hole-pocked back room full of free-range penises, "I'm lookin' for some nasty stuff."

Glory Holes of Las Vegas could use more nasty stuff than Ridge ever manages to get his hands on. It's short on connective tissue and long on padding. Gaps between sex scenes are crammed with repetitive footage of Ridge being hauled around in limos or poled about in gondolas, and shots of fountains spurting, neon gleaming, and big, stupid landmarks just standing in place looking kitschy. K.C. Hart's gratuitous solo looks archival. The soundtrack is cluttered with themes Sharon Kane could have cribbed from '70s daytime TV.

The stellar 13-man cast primes viewers for sexual fireworks, but most of the choppily assembled sex scenes produce only scattered pops of combustion. The first epi- sode (of six) unites Ridge, insatiable Andy Hunter, and funky Mario Cruz in the back room of a porn shop, but director Bruno Riccelli seems not to know how to shape their scene. The weirdest passage is a two-part priest-penitent scenario where the requisite glory hole is the window of what Riccelli's script calls a "confessionary." The best scene is a foul-mouthed, horndog jailhouse revel whose four participants include the increasingly impressive Jason Crew and the always reliable Andrew Addams. (If Addams's alter ego, gifted editor Andrew Rosen, had produced the final cut, Glory Holes of Las Vegas might have hit the jackpot.)
