Steele Rangers
Rating: 3 Stars
Produced by Joe Slade. Directed by Chi Chi LaRue. Written by Doug Jeffries. Cast includes Chris Steele, Haus Weston, Sam Crockett, Doug Jeffries, Shane Rockford, Paul Carrigan, and Kyle Kennedy.
How to order
By-the-book Forest Ranger Chris Steele presides over a swath of wilderness in California's Los Padres National Forest, keeping campers in line, looking out for what he calls "the balance of the forest," and, despite
his insistence that the forest is "a family place," having sex whenever possible with everything in his path. The sex is a mixed bag; some of the five sexual episodes, three of which involve Steele, lack director Chi Chi
LaRue's customary fire and coherence. And Chris Steele isn't very convincing as a drop-dead macho top, especially in his dorky Smokey the Bear hat. The best scene, in which Steele rescues and seduces lost student hiker Kyle Kennedy, gives Steele a chance to be quietly dominant in
a way that exploits his strengths, both verbal and physical.
