How to order
Montreal-based David Collins flips out videos like instant flapjacks. Most of his productions depend on the assumption that certain viewers will eat up anything, no matter how dull, inane,
or hastily whipped up, as long as it provides a smorgasbord of models who look barely legal. But every so often a video like
Runaway Haven serves as a reminder that when Collins cares to
pay attention to pace and staging, his customarily dormant competence wakes up.
It helps that the eight well-matched models seem to salivate at the sight of one another's bodies. The three episodes are set in the basement and garage of a secluded house
where young fugitives are allowed to hole up, so to speak, in exchange for sex. In the first segment, runaway Matieu Taillon and gatekeeper Joey Piccard enjoy a zestful 69. In the second,
a twosome segues into a long but urgent foursome. Finally, Geoffrey Laurent turns up and pretends to need shelter so that he can gain sexual access to Alexandre Doyon, a choice hunk
of boeuf who seems older and richer in protein than the average David Collins boy. Many viewers will find Laurent's motives eminently plausible.
