Houston-- The Gay and Lesbian Movie Club's success grows out of the simplicity of its premise. Every Saturday night, around ten or 20 homosexual Houstonians gather to have dinner and catch a flick. "People from
all walks of life come to the group-- singles, couples, and from all age ranges," says Jimmy Brown, a member of the movie club. "Most are Houstonians, but people from other cities and counties visit occassionally."
Trepidatious about mixing with a clique of esoteric cineastes? Put that worry to rest. "Our goal," says the group's statement of purpose, "is to only see mainstream movies and not foreign or low-budget films." To find out more, call
