How to order
In this concluding volume of Csaba Borbély's Greek island trilogy, the plot shuts down early and sex takes over. Unfortunately, Borbély's direction makes you wish the narrative-- a
feta-brained tale of black-marketeers pushing ancient Greek sculptures molded out of fine hard plastic, circa A.D. 2003-- could keep on generating more expository talk accompanied
by borderline psychotic English subtitles.
Instead, the first of five wall-to-wall sex scenes begins in the opening minutes, once the scammers and the scammed close their deal and segue into a celebratory cocktail party.
The 12-man automated orgy that breaks out in the interstices of the editing doesn't develop, it just happens, and none too coherently. As usual, Borbély poses models in clusters of twos
and threes that don't mix or interconnect. When the sex drifts into various parts of a villa, it breaks down into a foursome, two twosomes, and a threesome. Only 11 models receive screen
credit; after the opening suckathon, someone disappears. The cast-- Borbély's stable of attractive European clones with names like "Rick Perry"-- goes about its chores with a sense of
duty enlivened at times by fits of zest.
The action is supposed to take place on Santorini, which is barely seen. Because no reference is made to the swindle that was brewing in
Santorini Heatwave and Island Daze,
viewers who missed the first two installments won't fully understand the title. The word chiseled should, however, resonate with porn fans who purchase this Hellenic dud for $59.95.
