Hand Picked, the first of a series, may be marginally slicker than Chi Chi LaRue's Off the Street videos, but it's essentially the same deal: a slapped-together, multi-city showcase for promising newcomers. This compendium of solos and duos, shot in Atlanta and Orlando, receives a needed lift from the presence of porn pros Alec Martinez and Yuri Breshnev. Except for a bit of fucking in the first of seven segments, the sex is oral and manual. All the newer models are appealing, but Brett Channing, Billy Hart, and Matt Summers are the most camera-friendly. Lean, angular Summers, who appears in the closing sketch, makes a strong impresssion, deep-throating Martinez while licking his balls, and flashing a beatific smile. (If you had to fellate Alec Martinez, you'd smile too.) When Summers comes, his orgasm is so fiercely convulsive that he's brought back during the closing credits to assure viewers that he's okay.
