Longer, Harder, More, Better
By Joseph Couture

Now for the best part of the class: how to have longer, better orgasms more often. Females and prepubescent boys can enjoy multiple orgasms -- that is, orgasms in quick succession -- but it's a tall order for men, for whom orgasm and the hard work of ejaculation are all bound up together. But men can regain some of their multiorgasmic capacity by learning to separate the two. The idea is to teach yourself to stop just before you come and refrain from ejaculating. Discipline, men! And a little pinching.

ne trick is to squeeze the tip of your penis in the seconds just before you squirt so that you stop yourself from ejaculating, but still allow the experience of orgasm. This works because it's the process of ejaculating that leads men into what is known as the refractory period, during which you lose interest in sex and need to rest before resuming.

But there's another way to have more orgasms: find a new partner. It's called the Coolidge effect, named after America's 29th president.

In author Simon LeVay's recounting, the legend goes like this: "President and Mrs. Coolidge were once touring a farm. Soon after their arrival they were taken off on separate tours. When Mrs. Coolidge passed the chicken pens she paused to ask the man in charge if the rooster copulated more than once each day. 'Dozens of times,' was the reply. 'Please tell that to the President,' Mrs. Coolidge requested. When the president passed the pens he asked, 'Same chicken every time?' 'Oh no, a different hen each time.' 'Please tell that to Mrs. Coolidge,' said the president."

Research shows that a novel sex partner reduces the refractory period for many men. If you've had a first course but still want more, find a new chicken.

The last trick to increase the length and strength of your orgasms involves muscular contractions called Kegel exercises; they are easy and quick to do.

You can identify the muscles involved by beginning to urinate and then consciously interrupting the flow -- or, for that matter holding in a fart. The muscles in question are just the ones you want to mentally identify. To do Kegels, tighten and contract those muscles for ten seconds, in sets of ten, three times a day. In as little as two weeks after beginning the exercises, you can be enjoying longer and more intense orgasms.
