On his 28th birthday, realizing he's approaching 30, Michael Johnson has attacks of creeping dread. A friend (co-director Josh Masters) consoles him with the gift of a beefy escort (Devon Austin). Two of the three principal sex episodes (Austin also gets a truncated solo) are sidebars to the main event: Johnson opening his present. There's a duo involving Jay Anthony and surfer trick Trent Collins, and a shapeless, overlong encounter between a couple (Fernando Montoya and Antonio Forunow) and a hired stud (Gino Marconi) whose face is masked by a tacky denim rag. Johnson and Austin put some oomph into their big scene, in which the birthday boy gives his present's nether parts a workout, but their momentum is broken by intercut footage of Rio Quentin, Johnson's roommate, jerking off. Since he never interacts with Johnson and Austin, and probably wasn't on the set at the same time, Quentin's cuteness doesn't compensate for the disruption.
