Late in 2006, after Chris Steele resigned as Director of Production, Falcon Studios entered a rudderless transitional phase, still in progress, during which a motley mix of directors has turned out work falling somewhere between shoddy and modestly successful. With Endless Crush, director John Bruno, lately the creator of roughies like Forced Entry for Falcon's Mustang subdivision, moves over to the parent operation and tips his style toward the assertive end of vanilla. The result is about as good as Falcon videos now get -- acceptably professional and sometimes hot, but not up to the standard set in the '90s by John Rutherford and Chi Chi LaRue.

The premise pays tribute to Falcon's woodsy roots. A group of well-appointed male specimens gathers at a rural hideaway supposedly owned by Colby Taylor, a model who's been ensconced in the studio's aerie long enough to rate billing as a "Falcon Legend." Over a weekend, the usual happens. There's a story thread involving a reunion of Aden Jaric and Jordan Jaric, who haven't seen each other since that fateful night in Jordan's parents' basement when they first fucked. (A subplot seems to kick in when someone sneaks around at night writing soubriquets like "SLUT" and "LOSER" on the backs of sleeping guests' tightie whities, but the gesture goes nowhere.) Three so-so sex scenes unfold on or near the premises, culminating in one of those foursomes that are really two twosomes. Legend or not, Colby Taylor is thrown away here in an oddly low-profile, perfunctory role.

This video's principal claim to distinction is the porn debut of Aden and Jordan Jaric, newly minted Falcon Exclusives who happen to be a couple. Monogamy limits their sexual repertoire, but their exquisitely toned bodies fit together like halves of a salacious masterwork. In the fourth, final, and best scene, as Jordan's cock pushes into his sphincter, Aden's smile provides an unexpected crowning grace note.
