Gay man in shorts-- oh, my!
I enjoy reading your magazine and enjoy your open-minded, well-written editorials, articles, humor, reviews, and travel articles. I find it a refreshing voice in this ever increasingly
conservative gay world we live in.
I also enjoy your approach to the inconsistencies in gay culture and business. I recently signed up for two web sites, owned by the same company (Matchnet's glimpse.com and
facelink. com), where gay men can meet other gay men. I submitted several photos, and all were posted except for the one attached, rejected for being too "suggestive." I received a letter
from them as well as an identical one from Glimpse.com rejecting the same photo for that site. Following their letter is my response to them, which they have not bother to respond to yet.

B.G.'s letter Matchnet's censors: "Dear Member Services Representative: I do not know where you are based; however, I live and am interested in meeting people here in Miami Beach
where we walk down the street to go to beach in a bathing suit which is much smaller than the University regulation gym shorts which I am wearing in this photo. There is no revealing of
genitals or buttocks in this photo, so I can't imagine where, or what part of the region you might be coming from. Perhaps the e-mail you sent was a mistake, so am sending the photo for re-posting."
A letter to the Archbishop
Dear Archbishop Sean O'Malley: Your recent attack on the [marriage] rights of Gay and Lesbian people has has convinced us that the Church you lead no longer represents Jesus' presence.
Your attacks on Gay and Lesbian marriage are so far off the mark that we cannot begin to address the many issues you and your brother bishops seem to be missing, or overlooking.
Please give this issue prayerful and thoughtful review and make a more informed, rational response to this important move in the direction of granting full rights to all of
Massachusetts' citizens. Yours in Christ,
P.D. and D.S.
Boston, Massachusetts
Hey, let the Archbishop marry, or not marry, whomever he chooses. Just tell him to shut his fat yap about what marriages Massachusetts recognizes as legally valid.
