Alex and Bruno
Rating: 2 Stars
Directed by André Tardif. Cast includes Nino Bacci, Michel Mattel, Dean Forrest, Adam Kerr, and François Clairmont.
How to order
Alex (Michael Mattel) is both a voyeur who slinks around Montreal peeking through windows at male shenanigans, and an exhibitionist who likes to expose himself on his downtown balcony. One day a cop (Dean
Forrest) arrives at his door to serve him a citation and fuck him with a nightstick. Alex is told his fine will be set aside if he agrees to work as a farmhand at an isolated spread belonging to Bruno (Nino Bacci, a credit to the
European gene pool). One of the perks of this serendipitous punishment is the opportunity to have sex not only with Bacci, but with hikers in the nearby woods. This is, alas, a better deal for Alex than it is for the audience.
Occasional shots are very erotic, but much of the sex is marred by indifferent pacing and ragged continuity. Dialogue is in poorly subtitled
Québecois, but the action is largely self-explanatory, to say the least.
