An exhibitionist's ecstasy often ends with his arrest. But a gallant 26-year-old indecent exposure artist in Des Moines, Iowa took advantage of his arrest to give himself, to say nothing of the cops, additional thrills.

After his arrest for exposing himself at a book store, says the

Des Moines Register, the young man "dropped his trousers and exposed himself" at a police station while being questioned by a detective.

The detective told the man to sit down. He "took a seat," but not until he had "pulled up his trousers." When another cop came into the room the prisoner "stood up, unzipped his pants, tugged them down a few inches and exposed himself to both officers." The Register's wording suggests that the man was not wearing underpants.

It had been obvious from the beginning that he was no common, ordinary exhibitionist; the apparatus in Des Moines who sent the clipping writes that the store in which the man was arrested for displaying what the apparatus calls his "meat" is "a conventional book store in a downtown mall, not an adult book store." In an "adult" store in a city that has a civilized government and police force, it is fairly common to see meat not only exposed but sucked on. Anyone who shows off his hose in a conventional store is an exhibitionist of rare valor.

It is not surprising to read that a man so delightfully narcissistic had also been to a sun lamp salon called "Tan Your Hide" and had also showed his tool there.
