Jerkin' It, Volume 1 introduces a series devised by still photographer Mick Hicks. As solo videos go, it's well-made and engaging. Each model gets showcased for approximately 20 minutes; the four segments, shot in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Sydney, Australia, begin
with interview footage and segue into skillfully presented masturbation sequences. Eli O'Reilly tends plants on a patio overlooking San Francisco; Trent Austin discusses hustling via AOL; Baron Johnson tends bar at Sydney's Corus Hotel; and Louisiana's Ricky Cash describes dance
gigs during Southern Decadence week in New Orleans. The models are all the more attractive for having been allowed to present themselves as people before beating off. The sex is sometimes surprisingly hot, thanks to Rick Bee's editorial skills and Mick Hicks's attention to details
like Johnson's rotating tongue stud and O'Reilly's flexing toes.
