Reform School Confidential is one of the best American porn videos of the past year. It has a few flaws. First, the guys are clearly too old to be juvenile delinquents--
Graduate School Confidential would be a more accurate title. The videography is uneven. Finally, some of the dialogue and acting are, surprise, just plain bad. Still, the video has a refreshing sense of humor about itself, and great cast, and most importantly lots
and lots of hot action scenes. Dan Cross who wrote, directed, and produced
Reform School Confidential has filled it with sex that is simultaneously dangerous and fun. There is also plenty of variety. How many videos have
a tender love scene between sweethearts and a rape scene involving a broom handle? Not enough, but this one does.
The entire cast is quite strong, but a few guys manage to stand out from the impressively large pack. Jackson Phillips gives a wonderfully demented performance as the school doctor who specializes in
rectal exams. John Ross and Jack Simmons (real-life boyfriends) are both great in their scene together. Mack Reynolds who has been lackluster in his recent videos again has the brute sexuality and energy that made him so
much fun to watch when he first arrived on the scene. The star of
Reform School Confidential is clearly beefy and beautiful Kyle McKenna. McKenna has built his career on playing bratty boys who need to be punished.
His incredible talent as a bottom makes him perfect for these roles. Other, lesser performers might grow stale with such a narrow range, but McKenna continues to bloom where he is planted.
