Toothsome, Tuneful Dr. Jeff
This dentist fills more than cavities
By Ed Karvoski, Jr.

Dr. Jeff is ________.

a) a musician

b) a dentist

c) a porn star

d) all of the above

The correct answer is (d) all of the above-- and then some!

Originally from Los Angeles, he attended college in Ohio and studied music, then headed for Boston and graduated from dental school. So what's next for the well-traveled, well-educated, well-built doc? You guessed it! Dr. Jeff makes his porno debut in the forthcoming The Final Link directed by Chi Chi LaRue.

In addition to seeing Dr. Jeff in the flesh, porn fans will soon be able to hear his tunes. He produces music with the group Fertile Sausage and has already sold a couple of songs to All Worlds Video for future soundtracks.

And as if all that's not enough, Dr. Jeff made his stage debut recently in the Boston production of Ronnie Larson's "10 Naked Men," a comedy about prostitution in Hollywood.

How did you get in the porno biz?

Doug Jeffries is a good friend of mine and he's a best friend with Chi Chi LaRue. He said I should meet her the next time I was on the West Coast. So I was visiting San Francisco and Chi Chi was doing her show at Nob Hill Cinema. I went in and sort of auditioned, so to speak.

Auditioned?

I just took off my clothes, basically. And she said, "Oh, yeah, you'd be great!" And she put me in this movie.

Had you considered doing porn before?

No, I never thought I'd be chosen to do it. It was something I never thought I'd be qualified for.

So why would a dentist-- someone with a professional career-- want to do porno?

Oh, a lot of people thought I was crazy to do it; they thought it would be my "downfall" or something. Obviously I'm not doing it for the money. It's a lot of fun. I like the people in the industry. It's a good way to meet sexy men, and it's a good way to travel and get your trips paid for.

Do you ever worry that it might hurt your dental career?

I don't think it's going to hurt my dental career. If anything, it might help it. People will say, "Oh, my dentist is a porn star." It's kind of an attraction versus a turn-off, at least for some people. I think those who find out will probably be intrigued by the fact, and those who are not into that scene are not going to know anyway.

What was it like working on your scene in The Final Link?

It was an orgy scene-- 16 people, so it wasn't your typical scene. It was a big orgy both on- and off-screen. The cast was a lot of fun. Very attractive men and all very friendly.

It was a little intimidating at first. A lot of them knew each other, but there were three of us who had never done a film. Actually, one was a friend of mine. It was nice that I had a friend doing it with me.

Who are some of the stars in the scene?

Spike, Marcus Iron, Marc Hamilton, Jack Simmons-- Jack was my roommate while I stayed there in San Francisco, he was very friendly.

They started working with the bigger names sort of going at it-- mostly oral sex and butt licking. Then they gradually brought other people into the scene. The other two newcomers and myself were the last ones to get in on it. At that point, it was sort of a free-for-all.

When they said, "OK, now you have to do the cum shots," I thought I wouldn't be able to do it. But actually it was pretty easy. Everybody came on this one guy.

You're OK with orgies?

Yeah, I used to have orgies at my place a couple of times a year. Sometimes I feel comfortable with them and sometimes I don't. It's hard to get them together, to get a good group of guys.

Who did you find cutest?

Marc Hamilton and I were very attracted to each other. We hit it off . We keep in touch. He's in Minneapolis.

In all of your travels, is there a location where you're most attracted to the guys?

If I could live anywhere and there were no impediments, I would maybe live in San Francisco or Paris, or both. They're just more laid-back and casual about sex in those cities. And they're not hung-up about meeting people or even talking with a stranger. I live in Boston now, but I tend to meet men I'm more compatible with when I travel. **
