Condom maker Ansell said it will provide 60,000 condoms and 60,000 units of lubricant for the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games, March 15-26.
"We initially supplied 50,000 condoms for the athletes' village in Sydney in 2000," a company spokesperson said. "However, 30,000 additional condoms were requested during games time." Details of how the condoms will be distributed to athletes have yet to be
finalized with game officials.
