"CCBC" is the most celebrated of the large, busy gay resorts in Cathedral City. At CCBC hotel guests and day pass holders can mix it up in a indoor/outdoor playground environment nonpareil. There are fantastic mountain views at CCBC, but the immediate view here is too preoccupying: guys of every age group, from cute to handsome, lounging naked on lawn chairs, maybe getting a massage, swimming in the heated pool or the soaking in the chest deep, ten- man whirlpool, or strolling The Walk, with its forested hideaways. There's a steam room, a sauna, a dungeon, porn cinema, and "The Compound." The hotel rooms and suites are comfortable, functional, and unfussy.
