The newest addition to the Providence party scene. Owner Bob Thibeault has been in the business for many years and knows what his customers want. He makes sure they get it. Thibeault engages several promoters who bring out their constituencies on different nights. Wednesdays and Fridays offer karaoke in one room, while the fetish club in the deepest recesses of this sprawling enterprise commands an enthusiastic throng of 20-something Goths of both genders at "Hathor's Garden at Club Gallery." Ringmaster Alan Palo II is up and about-- one moment leading a retinue of ritual dancing with swirling flags, the next moment presiding over Dog Boy in his cage accompanied by the percussive crack of the leather meeting the skin of patrons getting flogged on a ruddy St. Andrew's cross. Other events are pure-play gay. These include Manhunt Nite (Tuesdays) and an afternoon Tea Dance on Sunday. Girlspot attracts 600 or 700 lesbians every Saturday for a party presided over by Pam Padula, augmented by the talents of superstar DJ Dena....
