How to order

Humping Iron, Michael Brandon's gym-themed gift to muscle connoisseurs, doesn't earn its 157-minute length, but it does emit some powerful blasts of libidinous heat. It's set in a pocket-sized, chrome-accented, sleekly equipped workout center. The ten-man cast shows off the results of significant time spent off-screen at similar venues.

Five of the six episodes are one-on-one sessions precipitated by workouts. What might have been the centerpiece, alas, is a something of a letdown. At its outset, the third scene appears to be a deluxe five-man orgy in the making, but it simply builds to a circle jerk with Dominic Pacifico serving as spooge-catcher. The set-up suffers from lulls where the five participants, who start wanking at their workout stations one by one, remain in a holding pattern as if waiting for direction. The repetitive voiceovers ("They keep looking at each other... are they looking at me as well?") seem out of sync with the action, and it may be some time before viewers figure out they're supposed to have entered Pacifico's masturbation fantasy.

he individual pairings, especially in the second half, offer more of a kick. Collin O'Neal displays his superbly crafted, hirsute physique in the fourth and sixth scenes, topping buffed, youthful Jherrad Lopez, then Franco-Slovak power bottom François Sagat. Between these segments there's a lively encounter between Trey Casteel and Nick Marino, who treat each other's muscular butts to fierce reciprocal fucking. The sequence ends in fountains of jizz, gobs of which land in and on Marino's eager mouth.
