Night Riders
Rating: 2 Stars
Studio 2000. Produced by Scott Masters. Directed by Derek Kent. Written by Patrick Vogel. Videography by Ross Cannon. Edited by Aries Post. Music by Rock Hard. Starring Chris Steele, Drew Peters, Clay Maverick, Nick Savage, Dave Nelson, Joey Hart, Dave Chandler, Scott Matthews, and Stone Michaels.
How to order
Drew Peters, a milk-fed blond who looks like an escapee from an Oklahoma Bible college, lands a job at Night Rider Couriers, "the most elite courier service in
the world." Working from dusk to dawn, these intrepid messengers transport material pertaining to fashion industry espionage, blackmail, and art. At each destination,
Night Riders also have sex with their clients. Although fraternization is officially forbidden, it appears to be a company tradition, one of the perks of the profession.
Peters's first assignment brings him to Martha's Vineyard, where he delivers two antique dildos (one belonged to Marie Antoinette) to Clay Maverick, the
trophy husband of an art collector. Maverick, who seems at last to have had a few acting lessons, pulls his own trophy out of his khaki pants and uses it, along with the
dildos, to express his appreciation for Peters's service. Meanwhile, senior couriers Dave Nelson and Stone Michaels flit about San Francisco, Washington, and Fire
Island, picking up, delivering, and fucking.
Night Riders is assembled with professional efficiency. The premise isn't bad, but the script doesn't quite fulfill its potential. There's something flat about much
of the sex; expectations are raised and then deflated. Chris Steele dependably turns in a good performance as the couriers' boss, but isn't accorded a sex scene worthy of
his talents. When Peters, Michaels and Nelson begin to get frisky in the back of a limo, nothing much happens. Then, when the trio arrives at the office to find Steele
and main squeeze Nick Savage lying naked on the floor, you may hope to see a five-way free-for-all develop, but you hope in vain.
