Men who like to be slapped around and forced to eat cock would find a certain trio in Florida enchanting.

At 4:30 in the morning one Saturday, a 36-year-old man, alone in his home in western Leon County, answered a knock on his door.

"Three men forced their way inside," according a superbly written but unidentified clipping. "One pointed a gun at him and made him perform oral sex on the other two men. The men also slapped him several times and put the gun in his mouth and ear."

Then after demanding money and tying his hands with an electrical cord, the three drove off, taking his video cassette recorder with them.

The three visitors appear to be typical homosexuals but there is no clue in the brief story as to the victim's sexual category.

Jobs with Time, IBM, and several Wall Street firms preceded Boyd's career as a chronicler of gay sex. He was the founder and editor of Straight to Hell (alternatively the Manhattan Review of Cocksucking), and later published a number of anthologies of true sex histories. Boyd died in September 1993, two months after completing his final book, Scum.
