Out of control DAs
I hope lots of people think about what you say in the March 2004 editorial Unequal Injustice on just two examples of the law going wrong for the
wrongly convicted.
And the same issue's coverage of Kern County, California, The Devil in Kern County deserves to be used as a warning by everyone. John Stoll is
not the only one to be destroyed by a District Attorney out of control.

San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsome... stop it [marrying same sex couples]! This is the wrong time for this righteousness. Human Rights Campaign... stop it! This is the wrong time for
this exploitation. Massachusetts... stop it! This is the wrong time for this debate.
If we civil libertarians don't get George W. Bush out of the White House we're in trouble deep. Do not force or make "gay marriage" the central issue of the Presidential
campaign, because if it becomes that we will lose.
Getting Bush out of the White House should be our over-riding mission. Back off gay marriage now. Save it for January 2005 when a healthy debate can start with forethought, not fear.

Dump Bush
Back in 1776, America's founding fathers wrote a letter to "the evil-doer" of the time, King George. The document declared America's independence from England and created a new
country wherein "all men are created equal."
Bush and other right-wing, Bible-thumping zealots who vigorously deny gay American couples the right to legally marry, can and should refresh their knowledge of American history
by viewing the Declaration of Independence at the National Archives. I really don't grasp what it is that they're so afraid of.
Get out and vote people! we need to get rid of Bush!

Sluts against violence
Congrats to Miss Poubelle for recognizing in Carl's Revenge [March 2004] that women are raised to be cockteases, thus engendering some of
the misogyny suffered in our culture. The campaign to reduce violence against women should work to create sexually looser women.
