How to order
The name Cannes evokes the sex-charged
ambiance of Riviera beaches, the International Film
Festival, and the fashionista scene along the
Croisette.
But Love from Cannes is set in and around
a bakery that could be
anywhere in France. This lewd puff pastry would
have been more aptly called
Bulging Baguettes or Les Buns. (Its
original French title was probably something
similar.) Ten presentable, uncircumcised
Frenchmen, toned but not
overly muscular, appear in half a dozen sex scenes
that interrupt the making of
pain au chocolat, croissants, and
other goodies. There are several three-ways and a
five-man orgy, but it's routine suck-and-fuck stuff
with
fractured continuity. The most sensual moments
involve food preparation that seldom merges with
erotic play, except for a vignette where gobs
of chantilly are licked off someone's cock.
Although the situations are generally
self-explanatory, many viewers will long for
subtitles.
