Thanks to the attentive reader sending in news from the town of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk in eastern Russia; school officials there are investigating after pupils, aged 13 to 15, reportedly stripped off their clothes, climbed walls, and lay on the floor laughing after their school dinners were spiked with drugs. Police suggest that traces of amphetamines and opiates were found in the borscht, "known components of the drug ecstasy."

That clip reminded Dawn of reports that Jefferson Airplane lead-singer Grace Slick was, as a former classmate of Tricia Nixon's, invited to Miss Nixon's White House nuptials in 1971. Rumor has it that Grace had a vial of LSD with which she planned to spike the Nixon wedding punch; alas, she did not attend, and the nation missed a chance to see Tricky trippy.
