Dawn was amused to read of Prez-dunt (shudder) Bush's condemnation of homo marriage. Beholden as he is to antediluvian theocratic yahoos, he
predictably blathered on about how we are all sinners, blah blah blah, and how we should not look for a speck of dust in our neighbor's eye lest we miss the "log"
(the Prezdunt's word) in our own. (Dawn rather thinks W could have personalized the metaphor effectively by suggesting that it's wrong to look for a speck
in another's eye whilst overlooking a gram of dust in one's own nose....)
Normally, Dawn would not appreciate the Prezdunt devoting his energy to making sure Americans received unequal treatment under the law (and
remember, Bush's Poppy opposed civil rights legislation as a 1960s congresscreature), but this time Dawn is all for it: the more time Bush exerts in defense of
"traditional" marriage is time he's not concocting plans to kill more non-Christian, brown-skinned people....
