Daddy-porn tends to be cheaply slapped together and insulting to the men it pretends to revere. An exception is Chris Roma's Real Men series, which continues to pay tribute to men over 40 with skill and care. This 13th installment populates an auto shop with mature, seasoned mechanics who grapple and sweat their way through five effective sex scenes. Big, strapping Rob Lawrence, their boss, appears in three episodes, joining hot, hirsute underling Allen Silver in a strenuous one-on-one reciprocal fuck session, then moving on to a couple of three-ways.

n the best and final scene, Patrick O'Connor (at about 30, the youngest member of the cast), brings his car in for a tune-up, and asks to use the bathroom. He finds Lawrence standing there pissing. The ensuing action expands to include mechanic Jack Austin, a 46-year-old hunk already featured in a lively encounter with colleague Erik Hall. The sex concludes with O'Connor coming while being fucked by Austin, Austin coming while being fucked by Lawrence, and Lawrence squirting jizz all over Austin's hairy chest.

From beginning to end, Dad's Automotive is enhanced by technical knowhow and strong production values, including Mark Weigle's exuberantly queer country-western score. Sample lyric: "Hey, mister trucker man, I heard your zipper fallin'/ I come runnin' across this lot to see what you been haulin'."
