A charming animation video from France features the fleet-footed and quick-witted West African baby Kirikou. Over 300,000 copies of
Kirikou and the Sorceress have been sold in Europe, and the video has won
enormous critical praise for it's artful animation and clever story line.
Why hasn't Kirikou appeared on the US's multi-cultural shore, readers are undoubtedly asking. Turns out American bluenoses object to distributing the video since it depicts women's bare breasts and has
heroic baby Kirikou running about without a stitch on. Dawn can only wonder what the rest of the world must think of our insane attitudes wherein naked babies and life-giving breasts are seen as obscene.
