Porn studio Raging Stallion, purveyors of delectably hirsute sex pigs, has announced the release of the first Blu-ray gay porn title. This March 31, look for
Grunts: The New Recruits in high definition (HD). Raging Stallion reports it converted to the more expensive Blu-ray standard, instead of the competing HD-DVD format, both for product quality reasons and
to accommodate the growing perception that Blu-ray will win the heated HD format war.
While Dawn generally lauds technological innovation, it is not clear that high-def porn represents an
aesthetic advance. When viewing current sex flix, Dawn often longs for a wider,
less proctological camera angle; being able to see every zit and ingrown hair in microscopic detail will not necessarily enhance masturbatory reverie.
